    A. Dialing method:
    Enter *#06# on your phone's dial pad.
    If the screen displays an "EID" number, it means your device supports eSIM functionality.

    B. Setting up a query method:

    • iPhone: Go to "Settings" > "Mobile Services" (or "Mobile Data") > "Join eSIM". If you see this option, it means it is supported.
    • Android: Go to "Settings" > "Network & Internet" (or "Connectivity") > "SIM Manager" (or "Mobile Network"). If you see options such as "Add Mobile Plan" or "eSIM", it means that it is supported.

    eSIM Applicable Areas and Usage
    • Coverage Areas (30 Days): Zone 1: 20GB + 15 minutes of calls + 50 SMS (139+ regions); Zone 2: 15GB + 15 minutes of calls + 50 SMS (12 regions); Zone 3: 10GB + 15 minutes of calls + 50 SMS (16 regions); Zone 4: 5GB + 10 minutes of calls + 50 SMS (14 regions); Zone 5: 1GB + 10 minutes of calls + 50 SMS (30 regions); Zone 6: 50MB + 10 minutes of calls + 50 SMS (other regions worldwide).

    eSIM Installation Tutorial
    1. iPhone: Go to "Settings" → "Mobile Services" → "Join eSIM" → "Use Mobile Barcode", scan the QR code in this letter → press "Continue" → wait → "Done". After completion, you can see the new plan in "Mobile Services" and rename it in "Mobile Tag" (e.g., set it to "Travel") → please enable data roaming when using it.
    2. Alternatively, in your phone's "Mail" app, long-press the QR code in this email → select "Join eSIM", and follow the same steps as above.

    ※ Notes:
    The first day begins immediately upon scanning or installing the eSIM QR code (based on Taiwan time) and ends at midnight local time.
    Daily traffic updates are made after midnight local time (calculated on a calendar day basis, not a 24-hour basis).

    • Max=5120kbps Unlimited data, can upload pictures and voice messages, but video calls will lag.
    • 10Max = 10Mbps unlimited data, approximately 4G speed, suitable for transferring pictures, voice messages, and video calls.

    Friendly reminder:

    • Remember to enter four zeros for your SIM PIN.
    • Do NOT delete esim files randomly (this is extremely important!)
    • Data roaming for eSIM must be enabled.
    • It is recommended to scan the QR code in Taiwan 1-2 days before departure.
    • One QR code can only be scanned by one mobile phone.
